Scottish Highland
cattle – we’ve probably all seen them at some time in our lives, even if only
in a picture. These beautiful animals are so much more than the romantic
image they quite rightly convey. They are quiet, friendly & very hardy.
They flourish equally well on rough or good pasture and are well known for easy
calving & a long life.
Originally from Scotland,
they are well suited to colder conditions, but adapt easily to warmer
climates - as proven by our animals here in the Hokianga (near Kerikeri, an hour north of Whangarei), Northland.
Whether your property is small or large, these are the animals for you. Come
visit - but be prepared to fall in love!
All animals born on the property are
halter-trained.
All breeding animals are registered with NZLHS & come with a DNA certificate.
